Good evening!  We are trying to make sure everyone knows what is coming up and we are ready for the first meet.  Please be patient as we send out emails over the next week.  Hopefully after the first meet, we will be sending out only one per week with the swim meet details and another one with volunteer assignments!

Key Information:

Attention 5/6 year old swimmers, please come to practice if at all possible on Tuesday, May 23.  They will have their mock swim meet.  Coach Cooper will be able to evaluate their readiness and will assign them their events based on Tuesday!

Share the Hammerhead spirit and sign up to be a

 Swim Buddy!

Our swim buddy program was created a few years ago for older swimmers to encourage younger swimmers and give them a role model to look up to.  Swim buddies are expected to introduce themselves to their little buddy, cheer them on during their events, and make them feel special by bringing them at least one treat during the season (e.g., a trip to the concession stand, a simple goody bag filled with candy or treats, etc.).

If you are interested in being a swim buddy, please click the link below and complete the application by end-of-day Tuesday,  May 23.  Swim buddy assignments will be communicated on Thursday, May 25.

• Swimmers Shirts - If you did not pick yours up yesterday, they will be at the pool again on Monday!
• Swim Suits and Adult Shirts - will be at the pool on Monday afternoon.
• First swim meet theme is TROLLS.  Remaining themes for the year will be communicated before the first meet.

Volunteer Jobs for May 30 - Maryn Cox and Kelly Higgins have graciously taken on the volunteer coordinator jobs.  They will be sending out the jobs by Tuesday, May 30.  

Heat sheets will be out on Tuesday, May 30 during swim practice.

ACTION: Facebook page - Hammerhead Swim Team (Closed Group).  Please join the swim Facebook page.  Once you like the page, we can add you to the group.  Incase of inclement weather or any other immediate communication need, this is the easiest way to get information out quickly.

Picture Day is Wednesday, May 31st starting at 9am after our first meet.

Roster Name Verification will be sent out early next week for you to send any corrections for your child's name for their trophy.
