Our FIRST HOME MEET 2017!

Tuesday, June 6, 2017 against DORSET

•  Our first HOME meet is tomorrow to Dorset. This week’s theme is LIGHT IT UP. 
• Draft lineup will be available in the morning on the gate and the FINAL lineup will be emailed to you Tuesday AFTERNOON. It will also be available on the website. 
• Volunteer positions will also be emailed to you in the afternoon.
• Meet day is a VERY IMPORTANT PRACTICE. It is an opportunity for your swimmer to utilize the starting blocks, perfect their flip turns, and legalize their strokes. It is also a way to let us know that your child is available for the meet. Please let us know immediately via email, if your swimmer will NOT be at practice but is available for the meet.
• Additional meet day information: Please arrive at 4:45. Swimmers must be ready for warm up at 5:00.
• Remember our parking lot is reserved for our visiting guests.  Please carpool or walk to the pool.
• Bring money for the Hammerhead Café!!  Snacks, cold drinks, candy, and dinner will be served!  
• We will be watching the weather tomorrow (it is looking good for the meet tomorrow night).  However, if there are necessary delays, updates will be emailed or on Facebook.  If you have not joined Facebook, please do so as Facebook is the fastest way to communicate with everyone!!!  The Facebook page is: Hammerhead Swim Team.  You can request to be added and you will receive approval.

Additional Cobb Summer Swim League, Inc. Rules:

As a member of the Cobb Summer Swim League, Inc., Northampton must follow all county rules. Violations could result in a meet forfeit or ban from the League. Each coordinator has a complete set of rules should you have any questions. Here are a few specific rules you need to be aware of:

• Swimmers are not allowed to wear any USA swim team or high school swimming caps or suits.
• No smoking or drinking of alcoholic beverages by parents, swimmers, volunteers or visitors is allowed on the pool deck.
• No parents, guests, or swimmers are allowed to talk with the referee.  If you have any concerns during the meet, please bring them to the attention of the coordinator.
• Good sportsmanship behavior is expected from everyone who attends a meet.

Before arriving for the meet, please write this information on your swimmers arm or leg with a sharpie. Please also write their first name on their back.  Example: (E= event, H = heat, L=lane) to be written on your child’s arm or leg with a sharpie:
