🏊 Hammerhead Parents – Swim Meet #2 is THIS Wednesday (at HOME)!

We’re excited for our second swim meet of the season, and it’s a HOME meet! Here’s everything you need to know to prepare:

Meet Theme: Pirates & Princesses!

Swimmers who dress in theme can visit the Spirit Coordinators to enter a prize drawing. Let’s see that team spirit!

📌 Important Meet Reminders:

• We DO have practice on meet days. If your swimmer can’t attend Thursday’s practice but is swimming in the meet, please let us know via email.
• Last-minute cancellations: If your swimmer can't attend the meet unexpectedly, email us by 10:00 AM on meet day.
• Meet entries will be posted at the Swim Office during Wednesday practice. Final entries and heat sheets will be emailed early Wednesday afternoon.

🏠 Home Meet Logistics:

• Arrival: Swimmers arrive by 4:45 PM for warmups. Bullpen volunteers should arrive by 4:30 PM.
• Parking: Do not park in the clubhouse lot — it's reserved for the visiting team. Please walk if possible. If you drive, park on only one side of the street to ensure emergency vehicle access. No parking on median roads.
• Seating: Please do not set up chairs along the pool deck — keep that area clear for traffic flow. Parents may sit near the bullpen or on the Clubhouse Lawn.
• Food: Visit The Hammerhead Café! They’ll be serving Chick-fil-A nuggets and sandwiches, pizza, snacks, candy, pickles, ice pops, and drinks.
• Need a cap? Swim caps will be available for purchase at $6.

Stay informed via Remind (@nhhammer) for any weather delays. In case of thunder/lightning, we’ll attempt to resume or continue the meet Thursday evening (goal: reach Event 46).
