Hi Parents!

Here are a few things you need to know this week:

- Volunteer Signups for next Thursday's meet will open today online at 4pm. Click the link below and the green 'Job Signup' button. Look for the email sent 5/21 from our Volunteer Coordinators (Lorie Keegan Nestor and Jana Miller) for more information.

- RSVP's for Thursday's meet are due Tuesday the 27th by 6pm. After that, they cannot be added to the lineup. You can RSVP now for all our dual swim meets. Click the link below and then the 'Meet Entry' button for each swim meet listed to declare whether or not each of your kids are available to swim.

- Any 5-6's who are not ready to swim at this week's meet will be notified by Coach Stacey/e-mail prior to the first meet. If you do not receive an e-mail/Coach Stacey has discussed with you, your child is ready to swim.

- T-Shirts have been ordered and will be distributed soon. Look for them in the Swim Team office on your way down to the main pool gate.

- If available, team swim caps will be for sale for $6 next week in the mornings. Cash Only.

- We'll be sending a detailed communication soon with everything you'll need to know for our first swim meet on Thursday vs Jefferson Township. Plan for swimmers to arrive at the pool by 4:45 for warmups. Bullpen volunteers try to arrive by 4:30. Do not park in the clubhouse parking lot. It is reserved for our visiting team. Please try to walk to the pool if possible, but if you park, please only park on one side of the street to allow for emergency vehicles. No parking on roads with medians. Please mark your child's arm with events prior to arrival. New Parent Meeting document attached for reference.

- The meet theme is Color Wars! (red - 5/6s, blue - 7/8s, green - 9/10s, purple - 11+). Dress up and check in at the spirit table for your chance to win a prize!

- Friday (5/30) is Fun Day (popsicles and free swim with coaches, no scheduled practice)! 9:30-10:15 am for 9+ and 10:15-11:00 for 8 yo and under. 

- The Georgia Games Youth Swimming Championship will be held on June 14th at Cherokee Aquatic Center. Anyone who is interested in competing in this fun meet can review the attached flyer. Entries are done online on an individual basis at https://georgiagames.org/swimming-youth/ Medals and ribbons will be awarded.
